Mother
Abstracted From: The American Heritage Dictionary
Noun:
Creative source
Qualities attributable to a mother, such as the capacity to love
Adjective:
Having a maternal relationship
Verb:
To give birth to
To create and care for
To watch over, nourish and protect
For whom among us has not known both the seed
and the flower?
And the cycle.
Thick, rich dark earth
transformed by the light of day
and the caring and nourishing of the creator
who knows too well the concern,
the heartache, joy and the
ecstasy of this act of creating life!
To be a woman
is to be a mother.
Your mark on the world has already been felt
by the stream, the sky, the seed, the flower, and so much more!
Happy Mothers Day!
