April’s grays come in layers
that peel back and forth all month.
Thin, tissue paper “see through” grays,
flower-patterned grays,
blanket soft and cozy grays,
rain-drop, dewy grays,
and fuzzy pussy willow brown-grays.
I like these grays as the days last longer
and we indulge ourselves in rain shower naps
in between the busy world of Spring.
